Why Zoe's Tails on Trails

A dog walker who trained as a nurse first.

I've had dogs of my own for as long as I can remember, and being around these amazing animals is genuinely one of my favourite parts of life. Before I started walking dogs professionally, I was a Head Veterinary Nurse — trusted with animals in practice every single day. That background means I can spot the early signs of discomfort, tiredness, or illness that other walkers might miss, and I know how to keep every dog calm, safe and happy on the walk, whatever their age or temperament.

It's the difference between someone who likes dogs, and someone who's spent a career trained to look after them properly. I'm also fully insured, so you can book with complete peace of mind.

Services

Walks built around your dog

Every dog is different, so every booking starts with a quick chat about temperament, energy levels, and routine — then I build a plan around that.

Group walks

Shared walks

Sociable, well-matched small groups exploring local parks and green spaces — great for dogs who love company.

Solo walks

One-on-one walks

Dedicated one-to-one time for dogs who prefer their own pace, are in training, or are more reactive around others.

Drop-ins

Home visits & drop-ins

A midday check-in, toilet break and cuddle for dogs left home alone during a long work day.

Puppy visits

Puppy & senior care

Gentle, shorter visits suited to growing puppies or older dogs who need a steadier pace and extra patience.

Optional

Cat feeding

Popping in to feed, fuss and check on your cat while you're away — a lovely little add-on if you've got a feline friend at home too.

Where I walk
